What are Spider Veins?
Spider veins are small red, blue or purple veins on the surface of the skin. They
may appear in groups or clusters, commonly near the knee and ankle.
Sometimes they are referred to as telangietasias, or reticular veins.
In addition to be unsightly, they may itch or cause the legs to ache. Clinically,
they are an indication of a system that is on the verge of breaking down leading
to greater complications.
There are two treatments for the removal of spider veins. They are
non-surgical, comfortable and effective.
